Zoe-perry
Perry is she is Chicago native who was birthed to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as shown in flashback), her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's initial TV roles. Her parents did not allow her to begin acting with her parents till she reached adulthood, as they feared the strain it might result in. Perry was a shy teenager and didn't act. She began acting at Northwestern University to gain friends when she transferred to the university from Boston University. Perry managed to get small TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. The feeling of homelessness, however, led her back to California and she returned to work on stage. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared nine times in The Family, an ABC film The Family, in 2016. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal that starred her dad. In the same year, she was cast as a young model of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again playing a young model of the mother's role. She was cast in the role despite having a close familial connection to the character.
