Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy (n e Anne Frances Murphy) was born on December 19th in 1986. She's Canadian, but works in Hollywood. Her most prominent role was as Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, the show that premiered in 2014 and ended in 2020. Her performance was well-received by critics, and she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born Ottawa Ontario Canada. The parents of her were employed as instructors. Elmwood School was her first selection to attend in Ottawa and where she took part in various stage productions. She then went to Concordia University where she earned a degree for theatre. To further her education in acting, she enrolled in classes at Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. At the age 22 she moved from Canada to Los Angeles where acting became her profession.
